PASARELA BUILDING // Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 2015

The project surround spaces of exchange and define discrete spaces, links between streets, plaza, patio, terrace, work spaces and the rest of nearby constructions. It offers a different perspective to each orientation using the same materials, concrete, aluminum and glass, placed in variable thicknesses, habitable, open to visits and measurable. The U shaped walkway is absorbed by the thickness of the skin, the concrete walls spread out to create the tapestry in the plaza in low relief, the boundaries of the area become dissolved in the inside space. Light sifts inside in gradient depending on the projected thickness and the orientation of the programmed lamas.

The offers centers on the search of balance with the environment and on the fulfillment with the beginning of sustainability on the building. Concept of free plant allows to liberate the skin of the building of functions ambles, being able to grant him more versatility and looking good, changeable variations of aspect, capacity of energetic capture, protection and representation. The skin of the building is an active membrane and reactivates, efficiently for utilization of solar and mini-wind power. A ” intelligent skin” that shapes the vibrant and changeable image of the building. Reacting to the foreign solicitations, to the requirements of the program, to the polyvalencies and specificities, they taking root in the place and reactivating this fragment of the Fairground Enclosure of Canaries.

The energy like activity, force of action, suggestive like argument proyectual in a space of coworking. The link is change like a leitmotiv for the form and the function of this project. Favoring the mobility at all, the integration and the spatial flexibility, the fluency moves dynamism to the user. The performance is capable of exchanging energy with the environment, loaded with dynamic interactions. The building is loaded of enthalpy, in continuous liberation and absorption of energies.
